Zerina Kapetanovic
I am an Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University where I lead the S4 Lab. My research is focused around wireless technology such as battery-free sensing, low-cost low-power communication and IoT systems. Specifically my research interests lie in the application of low-power wireless sensing systems to environmental monitoring and healthcare.
I received my Ph.D. in 2022 from the University of Washington in Electrical Engineering and was advised by Professor Joshua R. Smith. Before joining Stanford I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Microsoft Research in the Networking Research Group.
